Lauren Knows Maui!  Born and raised in Hawaii, she is a 5th generation Kama'aina with family dating from the 1800's in Hawaii, dating back to a whaling captain relative, Captain Jacob Brown on the ship Hoqua, out of Lahaina harbor.  Lauren has lived on Maui since 1979, raised two wonderful children and run a successful publishing business since 1980.  She is an accomplished macro photographer with works in private collections and National Geographic, an avid windsurfer, tennis player, mountain biker, gardener, hiker and all around outdoor adventurer all her life.  Currently living in Sprecklesville, Lauren knows Maui's Upcountry and North Shore like the back of her hand.
